Default Help amd opty 165 question

I just built a system using a opty 165 @ 2.8 wierd thing is when playing CSS it seems like i'm always laggin/slow especially compared to my opty 144 @ 2.8 both systems are identical except for the mb and psu. Is there a patch or somethin I can do to fix it. if not i will continue to use my 1st rig to play games but it just dont make any sense.

I have dropped it to 290x 9 =2.6 same result but even at 2.8 was prime and orthos stable for hours with no errors. I remember reading somewhere about a patch or something for amd x 2 but can't find it now. I'm also getting 10-15 lower fps on the video stress test. My cpu core is 1.350 proc temp 30c core (1) 31c core (2) is 36c temps are good fresh copy of windows and all my drivers are up to date something isnt workin right though.
