Can someone help me?
My computer has 2 drives D and N i use n most of the time to play games etc...
Recently when i put in a game cd into drive n it doesn't autorun or anything, and when i go to My Computer, drive n is'nt there. it just isnt. ALSO when i press eject by right clicking on drive D and pressing eject BOTH drives eject.
When i use drive d to put in a cd and click on the icon windows says please insert game cd, but the cd is already in. so when i explore the cd, sometimes I get the blue screen that says "please insert CD" blah blah blah.

*-ALSO-*

After i shut off my computer THE RIGHT WAY, even after just restarting, i get the "Improper shutdown detected" scandisk
thing.
I think something is wrong. theres been 2 other people with a similar problemo :amazed:

Have you ever considered upgrading your O/S to Windows 2000? That's what I use and I never have the problems other people do with their hardware.

Other than that, you really need to go to the System/Motherboard manufacturer site and check on the chipset drivers.. As I have noticed similar problems on VIA systems that fail to have the Hyperion Drivers.
