headset

hey guys again.....im geussing/hopeing that this is the last post i have to make in the hardware help forum for a bit lol..


well i have the plantronics DSP-400 headset and it has been acting up lately....w/e usb port i plug it into after like 45 min it will start makeing a scratchy crackly noise and i have to unplug and replug and restart and program that i was currently in with sound...any ideas?

Sounds like it could be dieing on you. I've had a few cheapy headsets die on me. Then I decided to grab a nice sound card and some zalman 5.1 headphones and they work much better.

well this is digital sound...they plug in usb i dont need a sound card

oh ya and they work fine on my other pc

Can you please give me a link to that headset please? I've made the desision to upgrade from a stereo headset to a surround sound headset. Thanks .

And if you want the micropohne with it you can select that at the bottom. It's a really sweet heatset for gaming, you can hear directions so well after you adjust from stereo.
