Here is what I get when I run HDTach 3.x on my system:
Average Read: 88.0MB/s
Burst Speed: 98.9MB/s
Random Access: 15.1ms
CPU Utilization 46% +/- 2%
The only thing that ticks me off is the CPU Utilization. The HDD system is setup to use DMA and it is using it.. However it still uses a lot of CPU. Maybe that's normal for such high throughput?
