haha lol yeah, but for power, its like a surge protector type of computer thing where if there is a power interruption, it automatically switches to an internal battery, and for a power pc, it keeps it on for a few minutes, enough time to save work and properly shut down programs

i think it stands for uninterruptable power supply . . . . hence - UPS
