would it b useless 2 have one ata 133 drive n another 1 which is sata? coz i know that sata is faster, but coz d other 1 is ata 133, would it mean that it would still b slower? thanxz!!

alrite then. so it will b ok 4 me 2 get a new sata drive n install a new os n all on it rite. coz i got a ata 133 maxtor drive that's perfectly alrite. so i was thinking of formatting only d c: drive n install a new system in d sata drive. but it will still b slow when transfering files between each other n reading back n forth between each other rite?

your operating system will load faster on a SATA drive (as long as it doesn't adapt from PATA) but it will be as fast as the slower drive when transferring

the brand I reccomend is Seagate, as they are among the best quality, and they don't adapt to SATA from ATA100

Seagate 200GB SATA for $124

i think i'll stick with ata 133 4 awhile now. itz still in very gd condition (np so far) n i don't wanna scrap it. thankz guyz.
