HD TV Tuners

I found a couple HD tuners at newegg and i really like this one

My question is (since I dont know very much about these) do you just hook the RF line that usually hooks into the dish receiver into the back of the tuner card and the tuner card acts the same as the dish receiver? because there is no dvi/hdmi/vga etc. input on it, so i was just wondering if you just plug it into the wall and go. I'm wanting a true hi def signal on my computer and HD signals cant go through svideo or rca.

well if you are talking about satellite the signal still has to be decoded although i am not familiar with how to do so. but basically connect an antenna and you can pick up HDTV free to air signals

ok, but will HD travel through a rf cable so i can plug one into the back of the receiver and then to that tuner and it still be true high def?

i would assume so, if the signal from an antenna can be transmitted over an RF co-ax cable then i would guess it can be transmitted from receiver to tuner via the same cable
