Default HD filling up randomly

Okay. I have a 640GB harddrive partitioned up to where the OS is on a 40gb part. After vista installed and some other programs I ended up with about 8-10gb. Went down to like 6gb after awhile even though I install nothing on this drive. Randomly goes down to like 2-3gb. And now I just looked and I have 14MB left.

What's going on? I've disabled the restore thing after awhile and it freed up a free GB. But now this is getting extremely annoying because I know that space isn't being used. No page file. No restore. What's eating the space?

I had a similar problem...I have Ace Utilities, so I analyzed my disk...this is what I came up with:

See how it says 140gb? I had a 32gb partition...

The files didn't actually exist, either.

I would download the free trial of Ace Utilities here, then analyze your disk space.
