Hey I was wondering if my am 64 motherboard could run a 200GB IDE HD I just found one for an amaising price, something like 120$ CAN.

Ya, as long as you have a free IDE slot, then you are good to go. Good find on that price! Make sure it is 7200rpm with an 8MB cache. I've been finding some low prices on HDDs, but some turn out to run at 5200rpm with a 2MB cache.

Alright can you tell me if this is a good value hd? http://www.anitec.ca/?mode=product_d...id=167&mcid=28 people said anitec is bad but i got a video card from there and i am very happy with it.
