I find Toms hardware guide pretty useful.

Except that's not short, sweet, and to the point hehe...they go through introductions, comparisons, testing on various motherboards, benchmarks, and finally a conclusion

I like Tom's Hardware too. I also go to Anand but thats not exactly short either.
