hardware help on first build

Hey diablo, how much did your computer setup cost roughly? Without the monitor, mouse, keyboard or speakers or anything like that, just tower...? I'm looking to save up and build a new system but I have no clue where to start...Also, I have NO clue on installing pc parts, could I take it to a comp store and they could do it for me? If so, how much do you think they would charge...?

Also, I am on a small budget, (70 bux a month, dont laugh I am only 15...), I'm going to save that up, what parts would you recommend for a system that can run games like Call of Duty, and Halo 2, and Flight Sim 2004...? Would you recommend your system setup? Or any changes?

Im happy today i went to fry;s and picked up some ocz value ram
1gig dual channel pc3200 for $65
and a 200gig seagate hdd for $60 both after rebate
not bad
everything else will be online though
