Harddrive problems

ok i posted before but got no help....

my hardrive is not being recognized by the bios and i need some help...

Dell 4600 |p4 2.6ghz| 384mb ram| 30gb wd |48x cd-rom drive

make sure al your cables are in properly.

err... all the cables are correct.... tried different ones same problem.... not the power supply, everything is under 2 yrs old....

pull the battery out of the mobo count to 10 and put it back in, power up, post results.
