Hi Everyone,

I have a HP computer with a NVidia Geforce video board and I been having slow boot times(Up to 1m 30s to boot). I found out it was the video card because i uninstalled it and windows booted faster and the green progress bar did not freeze. I downloaded and installed the latest driver and now it is doing it again. Thanks in advance, any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for your reply MicroBell. I have an nVidia Geforce 2 Intergrated graphics board with 32 Mb ram. Hope that helps, thank you!

My Computer specs:

Windows XP Home SP1
HP Pavilion 761N
Athlon XP 2000+ at 1.67 Ghz.
768 Mb Ram
80 Gb HDD
CD-R, DVD-Rom

To be safe, try downloading the 30.82 driver revision off NVIDIA's site, and not the Detonator 40 revision.

Also, how much RAM is in the machine? An onboard video card is going to claim it's own chunk and iirc, the geforce2 could be of two flavors: 32mb and 64mb.
