Default Hard Drive Problem Help Me Plz

Hey
I just reformated my computer after installing windows 98 and the rest I found out that my hard drive wasnt using its maxium space?
It is a 80 gb HD but its only allowing me to u se 2 gb. I dont have a clue what i have done wrong, maybe i made a error when installings windows or somthing? Any help would be great

well what kind of mb do u have. try fdisk and make that partition as big as you can. lemme kno what happened

Do you have XP? It would run much better than 98, and probably see your entire drive. Try to get a bios flash for your mobo too, that may be all you need.

98 isnt limited to 2 gig I belive, it's a bit higher

You can repartion it with some cheap partiotioning software like partition magic

And btw, it's time for XP (and another 256 of ram)

Yeah, 98 I believe is limited to 32. But, since it is 98, it may very well be Windows sticking it to ya.
