Default Hard drive prices way down?

This 400GB samsung is going for 109$

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822152046

But this WD 250 is going for 113.99?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136046

They're both SATAII? So why's the WD 4 bucks more for 150gigs less?

Western Digital makes the best quality hard drives, that's why.

I don't know about samsung's reputation for hard drives, but they're known for their electronics. Their lcd monitors are good.

I wouldn't agree... I would have to say that it is different on a person by person basis. You won't find anything but Seagate drives in my network (cept for my lady's laptop..... I could care less what it's rockin... its under warrenty.. lol)

I haven't had the best experiences with Samsung... Their drives aren't very reliable.

I am quite sure that Seagate drives have the lowest failure rates. and they have 5 year warranties on all their drives.

Me too.

My Hard Drive is Seagate, luckily. It seems to work, it's quiet, I just don't know too much about them.
