ok i start my comp it boots fine i have no OS installed yet. im tryin to fdisk my hard drive. im at the A: prompt and i type C: and it says invalid drive specification. i have a disk in A: where i can fdisk the hard drive so i fdisk it and it had 3 non dos partitions and one extended dos partition. i deleted the 3 non dos partitions. when i try to delete the ext dos partition it says i cant until all the logical partitions in the EXT DOS are deleted. when i try to delete those it says there are none. what do i do
please help!!!

find logical drives in Extended Partition.

if not there, means that the drive must have been installed with linux before,

make any one primary drive, make it active

then format is with normal process.

again enter fdisk

and delete in order:

Logical drives in extended partition
Extended partition
Primary drive

exit, restart PC, and again enter Fdisk

and do what ever u want
