Unhappy Hard Drive Help!!!!!!Please

Hey all,

I have a slight HArd drive problem. All of a sudden when i try to turn on machine, i get a blue screen that flashes real quick, then takes me to the safe mode screen. This screen says that I can boot into Safe Mode, safe mode with networking or safe .mode with command promt.
Whenever i try to do anything, the pc reboots and i see the blue screen for a split second, then i go to the same old safe mode screen
I am running XP Home, but I only have a XP Pro installation disk.

Now i tried to go to the Recovery Console.

I used fixboot(are you sure you want to write a new boot sector to Part C)
Yes
Didnt do anything

I also ran chkdsk
found nothing wrong

Can i use XP Pro installation disk to use the recovery console when running XP Home

Any help. I do not want to reinstall XP Pro, i need to save my data. Please help!!!!
