Default Hard Drive Formating

YES I have NO idea how to format an HDD

I have a Slave drive formatted in Fat 32 that I want to reformat in NTFS

So How do I do that? I can't do it in regular windows
can I do that in safe mode?

I run XP Pro

Back up the data on the partition you want formatted.
Boot to your xp pro disk...
Fallow the "Installation" directions.

You will need to delete the partition, then create it and format it.
