i just built my computer and finished adding all my components it starts up an detects my CD rom drive and hard drive but it takes along time to detect them and after it detects it takes along time to boot. i tried to fdisk the drive and it couldnt access the fixed disk dont remermber the exact message. do i have to do something in the bios or reset the cmos????

it just says error reading fixed disk and when i type C in dos it says invalid drive specification. but it does detect it when it boots like i said before it takes forever to boot
