Hard drive

I want to install windows on my 2nd hardrive and use it as my primary one, am i going to have any problems after i do this when i connect the old hard drive with windows still installed, or should i get what i want off it first then just format it?

Install windows on the new drive, then install the other drive as a slave and it will boot normally. Then once you have access to your secondary drive, you can delete the windows folder to free up alot of space.

Otherwise, you can set up the BIOS to boot from the HDD of your choice (at least my BIOS supports this).

This way, it doesn't matter which drive is the master and slave... you can boot off either
