Question hacking a mouse...

Hello to all:

I'll send $50 via Paypal to anyone who can tell me how to (if even possible)...

...change the sideways-scrolling function on a certain mouse so that instead of sideways-scrolling, I can assign keystrokes to moving the mouse wheel left or right. I work a lot in AutoCAD, and the sideways-scrolling function is of absolutely no use to me. I could really, really use these "clicks" for other commands. I'm guessing it can be done in the software, but I'm no programmer in any sense of the word.

If you're interested, email me at neeboy@yahoo.com and I'll tell you which model mouse I need this done with. Thanks!

Sometimes the mouse comes with additional software that allows you to change stuff about it. Possibly look in control panel, mouse, and see what options are there for yours. Good luck.
