I have a Dell Dimension 2400 that I would like to put that in, the link to the card is:http://www.buyxg.com/store/item.asp?key=VC-135-216. It says that it is PCI-E, meaning PCI Express, my pc has 3 pci slots, will that card work on my Dell? Just wondering if there is a difference between PCI and PCI-E...

PCI-E is a new PCI and much bigger and faster

You have to use an old slow PCI card in your hell.

I know everyone around here hates Dell but I rather like them, but upgrading is something new to me so I'm not sure what to do, if anyone has any recommendations on what video card to get I would appreciate it, I've looked at the 9200 which people say is crap and I didnt agree but now that I see that its not compatible with DX9, I do agree, so now I need to find a PCI vid card that is compatible with DX9, I would appreciate your suggestions, thanks.

A new system would work. All PCI cards dont offer near moderate performance. The new video cards on the way are 512Bit video cards. PCI only offers 64Bits video cards. So even with a new PCI card, your not going to be able to play any new games really.

I suggest saving money on a new system. Then spending more money on that Dell.

KnowNothing, we hate Dell for legitimate reasons. They dident offer you a system that can be upgraded to stand the toll of technology. Now they have won, you need to upgrade, so you can buy another system from them......

Secondly, I like "hell" or Dell because its the first of 2 pc's that I own and the other of the two is a gateway, from the year 2000, and also because I've never had a home built pc, thats why I like Dell...

Scroll down on that, to the system requirements, it says I need AGP...WTF?

Im pretty sure thats an AGP card. I seen that card at Newegg too as AGP.
