yea that's why i said what i did...how could they tell who made the card?

and what's with all the talk with rivatuner? i downloaded it and couldn't find any type of temperature things or fan controls....

Under 'Driver Settings' section, click on the little arrow next to Customize... > Click on the pic that comes up of the little PCI card (hover text says "System Settings"). You can adjust the fan speed there.

If you wanna monitor temps, click on the arrow next to the word Customize under the Target Adapter section, and click on the picture that looks like a microchip with a magnifying glass over it.

I don't see why EVGA Precision would work on only EVGA cards though...guess I'm not sure since I have an EVGA card and can't test it on another one lol.

i use evga precision with my gigabyte gtx 280
