Grounding with Acrylic Case

I was wondering how you would protect the hardware components from ESD when you are working with an acrylic case. If you clipped a grounding strap to another metal object your body and the computer could still have different charges. I don't want to zap a motherboard by accident.

I think if you ground yourself by connecting to something like a radiator then it should be OK, because you'll have no charge. If the case does though then there's not a lot can be done. I wouldn't worry though.
