graphics problem

Hi everyone, i have a geforce 4 mx440 graphics card and am having a problem when i install the driver, the screen becomes covered in dotted lines. i have tried uninstalling and installing the driver, playing around with the refresh rate and screen res, i have also tried different driver versions and cannot seem to get it working.
i have attached a pic of what it looks like when the driver is installed.

you're trying to show an image that's on your computer. You have to upload the image, it won't be seen from your computer.

Also it sounds like your card may be overheating, fried, died, all of the above

i have the same problem. I have an ati 9600 128mb and i get lines apearing all over the screen.........is my card completely dead?

Ouch that looks bad.

I think the card is done for if you have done driver and windows reinstalls. You should wait for a second opinion.

Also, make sure your card's not overheating, put the heatsink on with some Artic Silver 5 and point a huge fan at it.

do i just feel the card to see if its overheating or do i need a temperature monitor
