Default Graphics Card Compatibility

If I have a mobo with a 4x AGP slot, is it compatible with any 4x AGP graphics card? Or is there like a limit to the number of MBs the mobo can handle on a graphics card?

I hope I explained that clearly enough. Thanks!

Any 4x compatible cards, including those that are AGP 8X and backwards compatible, will work with your computer.

There is no limit to how much memory you can have on the video card.
