Default Graphics card

Can anyone explain wat is tvout for a graphic card coz i would like to buy a graphic card?? does it mean that u can view the screen on the tv or u can view the tv on ur monitor?? den can i record shows using the graphic card?? And wat is DVI?? Thanz alot..

The tv out is s video out for connecting to a tv.

DVI is the digital output for flat panel screens.

To record tv you need a tv card, not many graphics cards a=have these.
