Default Which Graphic Card to buy around 150$

I am new so dont flame me to much, I wanna look for a upgrade right now. I just have a AGP x8 slot open on my motherboard. I am using onboard memory for right now. Thanks!

For gaming? If so, look towards a GeForce 6600GT.

should i really change my mother board so it may support pci-e? i thinking about getting the 6600 gt its around that price thanks.

the 6600gt comes in AGP as well

if you're getting a new mobo, then you're gonna need a new cpu, etc.

what's your current spec?

1gb ram pc3200 ddr
120 gb harddrive
80 gb harddrive
dvd burner
cdrw drive

onboard sound
onboard videocard

i basically bought a bare bones computer. right now i am on a lan computer so i can grab all the perfect specs thanks!

Get either AGP/PCI-E 6600GT, best price for the best performance.
