Got some old computers

ok i jsut got today some old computers p1 know im trying to connect them up one i has everything but when it boots. it say
fixed disk 0 failure
invalid configuration information- please run set up program press f2 to run program know see i just what to know what this thing has because this computer is going to run linux.

ok i toook the processer out and its socket 2 and when i looked at the cpu pins thiers not as many. then on the mobo. on the mobo their alittle bigger and its wierd.
