Good Vid Cards

I am getting a new graphics card and I have been thinking of getting the ATI X800 AGP but then people tell me to go NVidia. I am willing to spend around $400 so does anyone know a really good AGP card around that price, mabe alittle less.

You can get a sweet card for $400! The Nvidia GeForce eVGA 6800GT AGP card costs only $375 from newegg.com. The 6800GT is a spectatular card that can easily be OCed to Ultra speeds.

I would reccommend the X800XL, but thats PCI-E only.

The 6800 isnt worth the price, you should get a 6600gt. If i could go back in time, i would've bought 2x 6600gts instead of 6800s.

matter of opinion. I have a friend with a 6800 GT, and it looks better than another friend with a pair of 6600 GT's. The 6800GT looks better, i think. But then again, the guy with the 6600 GT's was about the 1st person to get SLi, so his is really buggy.

I think the X800XL is the best bang for the buck out there, too bad its not PCI-E. But lets not let this turn into a video card-slugout.

6800GT is defiantly worth it over a 6600GT if you have the money

Nothing beter than some AA and AINSF on a 6800GT

6800GT is kinda like a 6600GT but can handle AA and AF at high RES.. thats what i reckon neway... dont get me wrong, a 6800gt would shiz on a 6600GT say playin doom at the same settings..

Is there an SLI version with dual AGP 6600 GTs? I thought that was available in the 6600 GT PCI-E cards only.
