Here is the comp im getting and i want u to check this processor and tell me if its good not the one below it


It looks nice and the prices is on spot but is that a nice processor is all I need to know I heard that this prosscor was good

Its a great processor - the early ones could overclock to 3ghz, as well as the 3200 and 3500 venice.


I have a AMD 64 3000 winchester along with a 6800 vanilla and play hl2 on high settings 4x AA 8X af witht the resolutoin at 1280 X 960 maintaining over 60fps.

In short - great processor

DO NO ORDER FROM THEM!

I currently have a buncha orders from them, and, only TODAY, after 1 week, are they finally shipping the crap! It will be tomorrow or the day after until i get it! THey are slow!!

For the love of god go to ncix.com. This is where i bought only 2 parts, however, they came in two days of placing trhe order, whereas Tigerdirect is still to come!

Well, what are you going to do with it? Internet, word processing, basic stuff - great. Gaming, video encoding etc. - not so good.

well With the GFX card they say it plays doom 3 great along with half life 2 so thats the basics of the best games right now so it really is cheap and afforbale so i can play games x.x

Yes tigerdirect does suck, remeber pricematching for Canadians with ncix.com or Americans with newegg.com

That barebones kit is a whole bunch of crap their shovelling off, a crappy case that will cause overheating, a worse than stock cooler, an oldskool decent motherboard, and a Sempron, which is AMD's "celeron"

The Venice will beat that setup left, right, and center paired with a gig of ram and a decent card

why not build your own? the cost would be about the same, if not less, and you'd be able to get better parts that you pick out yourself instead of tigerdirect doing it for you.
