good mobo?

i was thinking of getting a new mobo and was wondering if the
SOLTEK "SL-K8AN2E-GR" was any good and is it compatible with the amd athlon 64.
if you have any other suggestions for a mobo plz tell me

Well dunno if its good or not, but its a socket 754 so yes it is a AMD64 board, but there are two other sockets, 939 and 940...... So make sure your careful

I was actually planning to get that board. I heard it has excellent stock performance but doesnt fair too well in its overclocking ability. It also comes with nice accessories (purple ATA and SATA cables) Pair this with an AMD athlon 3000+ or above and you'll prolly have good results.

If your not gonna overclock much this would be a great choice. Plus the purple color scheme is pimp!

Just read some of the reviews on newegg about it. also look for the board on google. I remember reading a couple reviews on it.
