I'm building an AMD 64 3000+ and I need a good motherboard with SATA support and under 100 bucks. Thanks. need answer fast. make sure it's good!! ;)

^^ i second that..

Asus A8V deluxe (ver.2 if you can get it)

i know it's more than $100, i think it's $125 give or take...(on newegg)

you won't regret it, it's worth every penny, and gives you room for many upgrades in the future.

i have it paired w/ an AMD64 3000+ Winchester...

so far so great.

that is of course if you are looking for a socket 939 board.

if it is socket 939, than i would also put my vote in for the abit av8 3rd eye.

Asus is the worst. I would rather have a motherboard built by a grocery store
I second that. ABit would be much better IMO.

A lot better technical support too. Unless you speak taiwanese chances are you won't get any help from ASUS.

Their quality of boards have gone downhill although a lot of people still swear by them, but I think that's because some people are afraid of change.

I'd go with ABit Av8-3rd Eye, like trifid said, assuming it's socket 939
