Good memory/no overclocking

What would you consider a really good memory for no overclocking. I do video editing and do play a couple of games. No big time ones though. Do I need cl 2.5? or is 3 fine? I will be getting 2gb and would like to keep it under 200.

Don't go for the corsiar value, as it is generic ram with the price bumped up for them being a middle man. Get the cheapest one avalible - the fastest your motherboard can handle, e.g. for AMD 64 PC3200

Anything, if your not overclocking all memory is the same.

However with timings, you can get around a 2% increase in speed memory wise, but this is not worth it since you are paying extra money.

Corsair value select are a good choice, their cheap, they have a warranty, and their good quality
