Does anyone know a good AGP card that will play Oblivion well for about $100? I want to be able to play oblivion on my current computer until I get my new computer. (current computer only has a FX 5200 128mb)
currently im looking at this card: Newegg.com - POWERCOLOR 26PRO512M AGP Radeon HD 2600PRO 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X HDCP Ready Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

also looking at this card too

Newegg.com - HIS Hightech H165PRQ512AN-R Radeon X1650PRO 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

The 2600 looks like the best solution. There isnt to many AGP cards out now a days. Most have switched over to PCIe. There are some but not the neset stuff.

By the way my CPU socket type is 478...

this is my motherboard (I think, Ill check when I get home):ASUSTeK Computer Inc.

new CPU I hope to get(maybe):Newegg.com - Open Box: Intel Pentium 4 3.0E Prescott 3.0GHz 1MB L2 Cache Socket 478 89W Single-Core Processor

and then the video card suggested: Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100228L Radeon HD 3850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 AGP 4X/8X HDCP Ready Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

also my case: Newegg.com - RAIDMAX Scorpio ATX-868WUP Blue Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 420W Power Supply - Computer Cases accept mine is silver and it has a 500 watt PSU. If that dosn't work i also have a 650 watt BFG powersupply that is going into my new computer (once I get parts in like 4 months) that I can use until then...

My biggest question is will the cooling be good enough with that case if i get a P4 and that video card?

For good cooling, just make sure you have a couple of case fans, no dust, and decent wire management.

cooling only becomes an issue when overclocking, which i assume you wont be doing.
