good 3dmark03

what is a good 3d mark 03 score?

Pac0 07-17-2004 05:20 PM

5000000000. A more realistic one for your current comp would be about 2-3k

GameGURU 07-17-2004 05:23 PM

ummm...mine scored 10500+ is that good?

Martin 07-17-2004 05:45 PM

3DMark 2001 and 03 are entirely different scales.

10500 is very good on 3DMark 2001 for that configuration. I wouldn't expect more than 2500 on 03 though.

On 3DMark 2001, a score of 6000 will usually indicate playability in DirectX 8 games, on 3DMark 03, a score of at least 3000 would be considered "playable" for future DX9 games.

Hey, Martin, shouldn't his 2001SE score be around 12k with that card?

GameGURU 07-17-2004 06:17 PM

No, my 3d Mark 03 score is 10500, i havent tested in 01. Ill do that now.

No, that's impossible, even with the highest end CPU's only 9k is possible, you're confusing something.

Pac0 07-17-2004 07:11 PM

I meant with your PC1, I just noticed that you got your gaming PC.

Pac0 07-17-2004 07:12 PM

Oh, and your 01 score is low, it should be about 23k.
