asus because the gigabyte ones i looked at came with a bios i was tolded to stay away from.

I haven't messed with Gigabyte. I have an Asus, and I must say that I was as happy as I though I'd be. The instructions that they give on installation make no sense. You'd be better off not looking at them at all if you have already installed a mobo.

Gigabyte > asus. I think that asus boards are crap. I see them go alot in my shop.
