gfx memory flush

Hey all. Just a quickie. I know there are plenty of proggies out there which flush RAM on the mainboard for cheap thrills etc. I was just wondering whether there are any programs which flush the memory on graphics cards? For that matter, is it even necessary? All in the name of curiosity...
