Yeah, it sucks for those who can't get DSL or cable. I hate to say it but you're screwed, unless you can find a fixed wireless ISP OR get an ISDN line. ISDN is always an option for those who want to game but don't live near DSL or Cable. Its like an older, slower DSL. It runs at 128Kbps and sucks for downloading files, but gaming runs fine on it. See if you have that option.

I feel your pain, btw. I was one of those who couldn't get DSL or cable for the longest time, then miraculously Cox decided to wire my street (appearently there is enough houses to warrant it). Many of you probably remember how much i complained about my dial-up a while back, in fact I thought it would have disqualified me from becomming a mod.
