Getting Vid and Sound to tv

I was wondering what other stuff i would need besides my ati raedon svideo to my tv for the video but what about the sound? What sound card and cables would i need? tks. Digi.

Isnt the sound just meant to come out your PC speakers?
And im guessing of you want the sound to come out your TV speakers you'd need a TV with audio in capabilities with the right cable to plug in between your TV and sound card

you can get a RCA to mini-audio connector at any electronics store like best buy, circuit city, radio shack. it lets you plug thr red and white RCA cable from yout TV sound input to you sound card's mini-audio output which is typically color coded green.

its the same output that you use to connect PC speakers or headphone to. make sure you have the sound input on the same set as where you are connectiing the video output from video card. you are basically setting this up as if your computer were a home VCR/ DVD player with exception of the mini connector.

Thats a good idea, never thought of that - those converters come with hp speakers - tks again ekÆsine.
