Try a different game See if it works with another one of your full version games you may have lying around. I cant see why it wouldnt work well unless you need to check out the settings in properties, make sure they are set to quality dtail as opposed to performance.

in bios make sure your set to 8x agp .Check your Video Memory Cache Mode , experiment with the setting UC or USWC .I usually test this with 3Dmark 2001se after i make the change .In Primary VGA BIOS you need AGP VGA setting .Check your AGP Voltage im running my Leadtek FX 5950 at 1.5volt .Check for any Flash BIOS updates that may address Video issues with your board .Drivers can allways be a problem do some research you may find that the latest Nvidia drivers work better than the ASUS drivers .It will take you some time testing to find the best ones.Allways uninstall and reinstall the card properly.After i use the Defualt uninstall i use Driver Cleaner II to remove any remaining drivers .Hope this helps
