check this card on somewhere else, as it might be PSU problem, 250 is well low for this i beleive.

I had the exact same card (look at the specs) and i had to go from a 300 psu to a new antec. Also i would recomend setting the AGP settings in your bios if the mobo is 8x. I would just send the card back myself though cause youll get a new one w/ a better manual.

ah ha! well I went out and bought a 350W PSU and thing seems to work just fine. gameplay is still somewhat choppy (tried out sim city 4). its better, but nowhere near what I expected. I'm going to wait to install a 256mb chip of memory and my 2.0ghz processor before starting to worry though; that should be tomorrow.
