oh, and what ram/mobo do you have?

if you have crap ram, then go for a 6800GT and 3200+ and better ram (dfi lanparty for mobo is a must)

Yeah I know, it's 2.4GHz 1MB L2 Cache, with the 3000+ being 1.8GHz 512KB L2 Cache. Therefore the 3000+ would have to run at 2.6GHz to match 4000+, and 2.8GHz to match 4200+ speeds

Its all based on perspective. since 3800 is 2.4 venice, I would think the 4200 would be a 2.6 venice. But lets not get into that.

ANYYYYWAYYYYsssss, the 1st option is the best and cheapest option, as we don't know how well the chips will oc until we actually oc them
