ehh, no it's not true...you could just searched and found that answer.

It performs mighty close to the 6800GT

here are the specs that i found
6800 GS 425/1100
6800 GT 350/1000
6800 ULTRA 400/1100


so why 6800GS doesn't beat 6800ultra

because it only has 12 pipes, the GT and Ultra have 16 pipes

by the way, can it be unlocked to 16 pipes like 6800 vanilla ??
