it is like 2 points shy of the GT on the benches
it looks like the new bang for the buck card

I bet though it will only be for PCI-Express...because these things would kick *** in SLI. I heard that this is Nvidia's midrange card for this generation, rather than a 7600GT or 7500 or something of that nature.

most likely is and you are right it is only in pci-e no apg versions

oh I can't freakin WAIT to see the "6800GS Unlockable pipes!?" threads that'll more than likely run rampent through here.

6800GS did basically the same if not better in a majority of the tests....that core clock is up quite a bit compared to the 6800GT though, and it wouldn't be surprising if they are basically using the same core but knocking out those pixel shaders and vertex shaders making it practically even....I wonder though how much further you could overclock that is a great price and if you could OC the crap out of it, that'll just make it much better.

they cant be useing the exact same core the core for the GS is 425mhz and the GT is 350mhz they must have redone the core a little
