gay cd-rom drive

i have a samsung or something
DVD/CD-RW Combo (32write speedx10rewritex12dvdreadx40read
i can install games and stuff. but when i play them they wont load.
i put the disk in , the thing pops up, ill press play and nothing will show. sometimes ill be able to play the game.

this doesnt sound like its the cd-rom drive thats causing this, considering u can install it fine. but i dunno.
