Default Gaming Headsets

Looking for a headset that does not have cups that encircle your ear. I'm looking for a set that just rests on the ears. I get very hot when i play competitively online and my current Creative Sound Blaster World Of Warcraft Headsets cups retain heat too well. I like the H800 by Logitech and id be looking for something just like that, however ive seen some pretty poor reviews about quality (physically and audio quality). I'm not too worried about noise cancelling due to the fact that what im looking for wont be covering my ears completely, but the actual quality of the physical headset as well as the audio quality are of the utmost importance.

- Cups resting ON the ear design ( not encircling )
- Audio quality is very important
- Durability / Design ( Thin, like the H800 by logitech, i have a large head so i don't want something making me look like Katamari )

Additional things to note:

- I like the uniform mic (not a thin wire ended with a big fuzzy wad of foam)
- Detachable mic a preference (at the least can be muted or disabled via button)
- Black is a staple, but color options would be quite nice
- Affordable ~100$ (will go up if quality is there)

Any suggestions? Thanks!
