FX-55 (San Diego vs. Clawhammer)

I just saw that newegg.com is carrying both the FX-55 (San Diego = $990 & Clawhammer = $815)

My question is obviously there's a difference in the prices, but what is the difference between the CORES. Is the San Diego better then the clawhammer and if so why?

The SPEC'S are exactly the same from what I saw.

Anyone?

Yes it is. It is 90nm (vs 130nm) and it supports SSE3.

The San Diego is using the 90nm process now. It is apparently really good for overclocking (like the Venice core we've heard so much about).

The San Diego also uses a larger cache. if possible, opt for San Diego
