which I havent got a clue which one

btw I dont want a power hungry card but which in your oppinion is the best?

in this specific case, 9550 will be better

5200 is old chipset

as in its era, ATi came with 9200 Raedon. still many people preferred 9500 radeon over buying 9200. as they resurrected the 9500 into 9550 and thats even after the 9600XT era, it makes 9550 faster and more advanced than 5200.

well not at least these 9550 and 5200

they dont require the external power supplies as in case of Raedon 9800 / X800 and nVidia's 59XX and 6 series.

though u can say that nVidia is power hungry, as ATi draws almost same amount of power like nVidia do.

absolutely fine, as i'm running 350W on my current specs, where 9800XT eats up power.

btw, whats ur other specs?

kinda lame now but I'm uping with the XPS I ordered just wanna hook my young bro with this comp

1800+ XP
512 MB RAM
DVD Drive
5.1 sound (forget)
256MB 9550 () Current 64 MB card (bleh)
300watt PSU
200 GB HD
and some random other things

Not gosu but for my first comp its cool
