FSB Running at 200 Mhz... Safe to bump up to 400 Mhz?

Ok, so our 64-Bit CPU's will never get to 1600MHZ FSB?!?!?! I only have DDR 333, so is my CPU slower? I am so confused right now...

GameGURU, in the BIOS... What is your FSB clocked to? Is it 200 Mhz or 400 Mhz? (I am talking prior to x4)

I don't know why we cannot get a straight answer. I have asked many times... If it is 1600 Mhz (400x4), why is it clocked as 800 Mhz (200x2)?

Chill out!!!!!!
why must people call each other names, etc.????

Just because you disagree, doesn't mean you need to add the foul language along with it!!

thanks

But the question is... Is it considered OCing? I mean we are supposed to have a 1600 Mhz FSB!...!

Yeah...I have no clue. Maybe I will go to AMD chat support and ask them.

Hmm... That may help, but the thing is that we know that our CPU supports the full 1600 Mhz... It's just a question about the motherboard supporting it to its full potential!

But then again, it does depend on the chip... So maybe AMD could help us out!

If you hear anything or get some help with this... Plz let me know!

Thx in advance, GameGURU!
